Wedding – Guest – Lookbook

Hey my people πŸ™‚

Hope you all are doing great :*

Primarily!! My sincere apology for not being able to put up a blog periodically, I am neither a full-time blogger nor a very experienced one – “rookie” to be precise, but yes I am trying to be one and that’s what is taking so much time in between. Well, now having said that let’s just head straight to the point and as we all know it is the wedding season around and more or less we all have to attend at least one such, so I thought of creating a “Wedding Guest Look” for you all.

Now, weddings are not easy, given the fact that we have so many options to choose from, especially in today’s scenario when there’s such a diverse range of outfits meant for these weddings and likes. We all get into a bundle of confusion while decking up for this particular occasion and I am no exception in that case, so to make it most simple yet glamorously gorgeous , I thought of sticking to – “When in doubt, wear black and when in doubt about a wedding wear black saree” and trust me, you are gonna slay a million hearts abiding by it.

So here’s my “Wedding Guest Lookbook”..

OUTFIT :-

  • Saree

For my saree, I went with this black over-all sequined chikankari saree which has the perfect amount of bling needed for the festive look.

About the saree – This is one of my best ethnic investment. It’s semi sheer, it’s heavy on work with a subtle amount of sequin in it and most importantly it’s all black and it’s classic.

NOTE – This is an authentic pakistani saree which I got from the Islamabad stall at International Trade Fair.

  • Blouse

For my blouse, because I wanted it to be the show stopper so I opted for this black sheer backless one. This is sultry and this is pure love!!!!!!!

ACCESSORIES :-

For my accessories, I wanted to keep it minimal and chic but I wanted something that would complement the essence of the occasion as well and so I went with just two pieces of jewellery –

  • Ear-

The extremely elegant golden danglers with only few pearls attached to it. It’s not those typical bejewelled wedding jewelleries, it’s chic, classy and gorgeous.

  • Hand-

The stunning pearl and kundan hand harness, which screams ‘panache’.

HAIR :-

I created a messy donut bun and the reasons being – firstly, I wanted the look to be very classy and nothing can beat a hair updo in that case and secondly, while wearing a backless blouse, a nice updo always accentuates your neck and shoulder. πŸ˜‰

MAKEUP :-

  • Eyes –Β

I did metallic eyes to add some drama.

  • Lips –

Ultimate red matte pout in order to break the monotony of black andΒ add a bit of colour to the whole look.

And yeah that’s all about it πŸ™‚
